“Gaynor has made such a significant difference to my sons learning. He has gone from shying away from reading anything in the world around him, to having the confidence to give it a go. Gaynor considers the interests that my son has, the things that really rock his world, and incorporates this into his learning. Gaynor is always on hand to talk me through the a strategies that she is currently teaching Zak, as a parent I feel fully involved in the journey, and because of this I am able to offer support to him. Every six weeks Gaynor provides a full learning plan with expected outcomes and at the end of the six weeks we receive the document again with evaluations on the outcomes. Each week Gaynor provides us with a lesson plan as well, both documents mean that Gaynor is constantly considering how effective the lessons are and is always tweaking what she is doing to personalise it to my son.

“My daughter was initially reluctant to have a tutor, but Gaynor’s method of tutoring soon changed her mind! Gaynor established what interested my daughter – sports, games and gym – and incorporated these into all aspect of teaching and made it extremely enjoyable for her. She was also very mindful of daughter’s initial concerns at being tutored and made and gave her aide memories that were extremely useful but also discreet and / or cool! A lot of the learning was game-related and often done outdoors, My daughter quickly began to look forward to her tutoring.
